A restaurant branding class project in which I decided to envision a Korean fusion establishment called "King Kong: Café and Bar" and design items that would be physically used by consumers.

I chose to name the establishment "King Kong" as a play on pronunciation and translations. The Korean word "콩" written in Hangul is pronounced as "Kong" but literally translates to "bean" in English.
The establishment's name could then also be interpreted as "King Bean" in reference to ideally being the top of the industry and the imagery of coffee beans since it's also a café.
Different flavored soju (distilled rice liquor that has qualities similar to sake or vodka).
Each flavor is represented by a Hahoetal and their character.
Hahoetal (하회탈) are traditional Korean masks used in ceremonies or folk plays. Each mask represents allegorical characters that appear in the play.

The mask designs (from top left to bottom right):
Young Woman, Elderly Widow, The Bride
Scholar, Village Idiot, Butcher
Monk, Aristocrat, Servant
Makgeolli is an unfiltered rice liquor/wine that is opaque in appearance
Wax sealed bottle top
Paper coffee cup with sleeve
Take-out box, menu, and utensil arrangement
Containers of loose leaf tea
